“Celebrating 125 Years of Faith, Hope and Love”
125th Anniversary Sunday, October 6, 2019

Celebrate 125 years of mission and ministry!

Our church, the First United Methodist Church was planted on a corner in Glendale, Arizona 125 years ago this coming October. It’s time to celebrate all that God has done!

The 125th Anniversary Celebration is planned for Sunday, October 6th but a lot is happening to get ready! The bell in our tower is being rung every day at noon for 125 days (from June 3 to October 6). Each Sunday, there is a First Church Moment when a person, couple or family share what the church has meant to them. Each Sunday, there are a few historical pictures displayed in the announcements before worship and the Youth are creating a 125th Anniversary Cookbook.

Below are some important dates leading up to the anniversary Sunday.  We invite you to be a part of the celebration!
