Oktoberfest Celebration in Downtown Glendale Saturday, October 14

First United Methodist Church of Glendale is hosting an Oktoberfest Fundraiser on Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 4 PM until 7 PM. It will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 7102 N. 58th Drive.

Tickets at $10 for adults, and $5 for ages 12 and under; advance tickets can be purchased from the church office, or on Sundays during coffee hour.

There will be music by the West Valley Brassworks. A variety of genres will be played: polka, blues, vaudeville and others. The price of tickets will include FOOD (brats, sauerkraut, hot dogs, German potato salad and a few other treats), FELLOWSHIP and FUN!

A Silent Auction will be held; and door prizes will be raffled. This event will raise funds for our Missions Team, which provides meals and nonperishable food to women and youth at UMOM (United Methodist Outreach Ministry, which operates the largest homeless shelter in Phoenix. The Missions Team also sends shoeboxes filled with gifts and supplies to children in needy areas all over the world through Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child.
