Children

Children are important at First Glendale! Our goal is to provide opportunities where children are safe, feel loved by God and the people around them, and have opportunities to grow in their love of God and their place in life.

Children’s Moment During Worship

Children are welcome in all of our worship services. Families are encouraged to come to worship together and enjoy the Children’s Moment with the Pastor.

Sunday School

Sunday School for Children is offered from 10:10 a.m. – 11:00 am. After the Chidren’s Moment- the children will leave for Sunday School in Room 102.

Youth

United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) meets at various times, with regular meetings and monthly mission outreach. Experienced, dedicated volunteers make Youth Group a place where teenagers feel safe, can make friends, and find opportunities to grow in their faith. There are also times during every month when the youth group gathers with other youth groups from around the District and Annual Conference for mission activities, b-b-q, dances, retreats and camping experiences at the Annual Conference’s Campgrounds.
