Sunday Morning at First Glendale!

The pastoral staff and worship leaders of First Glendale offer dynamic, relevant worship experiences for today’s diverse world. We believe vital worship will encourage and inspire all those who wish to follow Jesus. We strive to be a “grace-based” church that is inclusive of all persons, a place where all are invited and all are welcome.

Lay-Led Communion at 8:30 a.m.

For those who enjoy starting their day with Holy Communion, a Lay Led worship service with prayer, scripture, brief meditation, and Holy Communion is available each Sunday at  8:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. (Note: In our United Methodist tradition, all are invited and welcome to share in Holy Communion.)

Worship at 10:00 a.m.

The worship service is traditional in liturgy, music, and preaching. Congregational singing is led by our Rogers organ and special music is provided each week by our Chancel Choir. During the summer months, special music is provided by our excellent church musicians or soloists.

Coffee and Conversation 9:30 a.m.

Refreshments are available in the Fellowship Hall (or occasionally on the patio). Everyone is welcome and a special invitation is extended to newcomers to come over to the Hall before worship for refreshments and an opportunity to get acquainted.

Sunday School for Adults 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday Open Worship (WOW) – 12:00 noon

A midweek, open to all, lunchtime worship service to feed our minds, souls, and bodies! The short worship service is followed by a meal in our Fellowship Hall.
